Darlkir (2011) emphasizes three stages of the KM cycle:

• Knowledge sharing — is the movement or transfer of info / knowledge throughout the organization
• Knowledge dissemination — is the deliberate leveraging of info / knowledge as well as enabling info / knowledge to be spread
• Contextualize the knowledge — contextualize the info / knowledge by provide info about the sources as well as adapt and embed the info / knowledge into work practices and processes
